American Thinker: The GOP must fight for its principles, or die.

"What is wrong with the Republican Party?  Why is it that they feel that they have to dance around conservative principles?  Which is more important - the principles themselves, or forsaking them for a victory?

It is really a simple premise.  You believe that the U.S. Constitution is the rock on which or country is founded.  You believe that a large federal government is a threat to individual liberty. You believe that the free enterprise system is the best system to ensure prosperity to the most people possible. You believe that socialism is dangerous.

If you believe it, THEN SAY IT.  Plainly.  Unabashedly.  Without reservation." --American Thinker

Bob Is A Racist

America set a milestone in 2008 when it elected its first President of color, but has our nation really advanced in terms of transcending race? I would say no. When legitimate debate of policy differences is stifled with charges of racism, I'd say all we have accomplished is using race as a cover for bad policy.

Be the Temple, Not the Tomb!

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2 Corinthians 13:5)

I love this verse, because the Apostle Paul makes it clear,
JESUS IS IN YOU!

So many do not catch the fullness of purpose that Jesus went to the cross to make that once and for all sacrifice. His original tent from the beginning has not changed--He desires and will have a people that live in Him and He in them. We have this treasure, Jesus, in earthen vessels. He has made the way that His spirit resides in us. Those that profess to be Christians, know that he rose from that grave, but do we know that He seeks to rise and shine from within us? For many, they are waiting to physically die into Heaven, and yet Jesus said that Heaven was within us. It is within the body of Christ, the people of God, to allow Christ to rise in this earth from us! Jesus is not in the tomb, and it is His desire that we each be His temple, His residing place--NOT HIS TOMB! Let God manifest himself in and through you! The full glory of God will be seen when a people united by His spirit and truth are walking in His will.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:18-19)

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (1 John 4:9)

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:6-7)

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

John 15
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Vernon Robinson: the Choice for Congress in the NC-8

Vernon Robinson is receiving my wholehearted support for his run for Congress in the 8th district of North Carolina. In a crowded field of candidates, Vernon stands far above as one that will go toe to toe with those that are seeking to "remake America" and disregard the Constitution. Vernon has shown through the years a dogged tenacity to advance the cause of liberty in the face of great confrontation and adversity.
Robinson for Congress

Vernon understands the terrible dangers of Obamacare and will work to rip it out by its roots.

Vernon understands the principles of liberty behind the 2nd Amendment and will protect it and all of the Constitution with true vigilance. Vernon Robinson does not have to pose in cheesy hunting pictures to show he supports the right to bear arms. He understands that the founders put that protection in the Constitution to ensure liberty, not simply to allow you to go hunting as liberal politicians would have you believe.

Vernon Robinson has stood rock solid for years now for the principles of liberty that have made our nation and its people great. Here he is in 1996 accepting the NCGOP nomination for Superintendant of Public Instruction.

Vernon has made a name for himself in North Carolina as a black conservative willing to fight to bring down the wall of discrimination that would say a black man can only support or be a liberal Democrat. He says the only thing he has in common with Barack Hussein Obama is a "good tan." Vernon is loved by those that know the struggle of going against the establishment mold and reviled by those that are threatened by his no holds barred attack against the destructive forces of liberalism.

The Health Care Issue is about Fundamental Freedom -- Rick Santorum is Right!

The following exchange is a very important one that occurred in the second Florida debate on January 26, 2012. It is very illustrative of where the candidates stand on health care and if they can seriously make it an issue in the November election against President Obama. Rick Santorum is the one candidate that has true passion and credibility on this issue.

Points to consider:

1. IT IS AN ISSUE OF FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOM! Rick Santorum is right. Maybe you are not concerned about the implementation of Obamacare. If we do not stop it now, it will be too late when you are in a health situation that makes it a concern.

2. Rick Santorum is serious about stopping the Democrats government takeover of health care aka Obamacare. He has passion on the issue and a history of seeking free market solutions for health care--leaving the health care choices up to the individual, not government.

3. Romney and Gingrich would rather not talk about the issue. Both are flawed when it comes to who controls your health care--you or the government. If they were true Reaganites, they'd be stressing the free market vision that Reagan expressed before our Federal government began embarking on taking over health care in the '60's.

4. Romney is petty and condescending when Santorum shows his passion for stopping the government takeover of health care. Romney tells him he doesn't have to get mad about it. What? Romney makes one of Santorum's points: if Romney or Gingrich are the nominees, the issue of who should control your health care will be punted away. Neither of them have a leg to stand on, and in the case of Romney, he is still in love with his top down government approach in Massachusetts--Romneycare. At least Gingrich has admitted that a government mandate on an individual to purchase insurance is not the right approach.

5. When Santorum presses Romney about the health care system that then Governor Romney instituted in Massachusetts, Romney makes a passing remark that the system in MA would be better if he were still governor. Well, is that not an argument to why we do not want government to have control over our most intimate affairs? Does anyone really want their health care situations being affected by who happens to hold political office? On the Federal level, anyone that is honest about the intent of the Constitution knows that Federal control over health care and any other industry is outside the purview of the Federal governments responsibilities.

6. Rick Santorum is the one candidate in the Republican race that can truly stand toe to toe with Obama and point out the President's flawed vision of a socialist United States. He is right. This issue is to important to let fall to the wayside. The Republican Party needs a nominee that has the conservative credentials to make a stand for fundamental freedom.

I support RICK SANTORUM!

Tim Tebow Meets His Maker

Tim Tebow has "met his maker!" Have you? We enter the Kingdom of God by birth, not by death. To know God, is to have eternal life.  We should be "meeting" our maker everyday and every moment.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:3)
The place Jesus went to was the cross. Jesus went to the cross and became the once and for all sacrifice to restore communion between God and man.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:3)

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (1 John 4:9)
There were a lot of remarks made before the Steelers - Broncos game in which it was said "Tim Tebow would meet his maker" when he faced the Steelers. The fact is, if we do not meet our maker, Jesus Christ, in this life, we will have no eternal life with Him when our physical bodies die. As far as the game, great job to Tim Tebow and the whole Broncos team. Great job to Demaryius Thomas on making that reception on the first play of overtime and stiff arming his way to a Broncos touchdown.

Where was God in all this? God was rooting for God. God is out looking for God, not football teams. Where his people are yielding themselves to be used by him, he is seen and manifested. His people are throughout this earth--on football teams even--and God is looking for His life to be lived through them.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14 "sons" is not gender specific by the way)

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:18-19)

When Joshua met his maker, in the form of the Captain of the Lord, he found out that God was on God's side. He was hoping the Captain would say he was on Joshua's side.

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? AND HE SAID, NAY; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? (Joshua 5:13-14)
